Free guide Β· Matt Pocock Skills 1.3

Make your coding agent ask before it builds: install Matt Pocock's skills in 2 minutes

Coding agents build what they guess you meant. Matt Pocock's free skill pack adds /grill-me, which makes the agent interview you before it writes any code. This guide installs the whole pack and shows you the first session.

  • A ready prompt that lets your agent install the skills for you
  • The one-line install for Claude Code, Codex and other agents
  • 5 steps with screenshots, from install to your first /grill-me
  • Which skills to try next and fixes for the errors people hit
A look inside

What's inside

1

The agent prompt

Paste one prompt into Claude Code or Codex and it installs the skills the right way for your setup.

2

Your first /grill-me

What the interview looks like, and why you can answer most questions with a single yes.

3

Don't install it twice

There are two ways in. Pick the wrong mix and every skill shows up twice.

Is this guide free?

Yes. You sign up with your email once and get this guide plus every other guide in the library.

Are Matt Pocock's skills free?

Yes. The skills are open source under the MIT license. They run inside your coding agent, so you only pay for the agent or model you already use.

Do they only work with Claude Code?

No. The Claude Code plugin is one way in. With npx skills you can install them on Codex and other coding agents too, and the author says they work with any model.
