Atlan is a data catalog that collects metadata from data warehouses, pipelines and BI tools into one searchable map. AI agents document data assets automatically, and an MCP server lets other AI agents use this certified context.
Atlan connects to more than 80 systems, including Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Tableau, Looker, dbt and Airflow, and builds a graph of data, business logic and lineage. It adds governance features such as access policies and quality scores. Atlan was founded in Singapore in 2019.
