Babbel for Business sells licenses for the Babbel language learning app to companies that want to give employees self-paced language training, with short lessons, business courses and AI speaking practice in 14 languages.

Babbel GmbH is based in Berlin. Through the business shop, companies buy licenses for English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Polish, Dutch, Portuguese, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Turkish, Indonesian and Russian. Lessons are short and cover all levels, including business courses, and learners see their progress in the app. Licenses are sold per person for twelve months or for a lifetime, with a discount from 25 licenses. Check which admin and reporting functions your license includes; the shop page we checked in September 2026 mentioned progress tracking but no administrator dashboard, SSO or published data processing agreement. It also does not say whether the AI conversation partner is part of the business license. Babbel uses external AI vendors for speech recognition, may store transcripts and may transfer data outside the EEA under standard contractual clauses. The 12-month price shown was a discounted rate.
