What is Effectory?

Effectory is a Dutch employee-survey platform for engagement, onboarding, exit and team-development research, aimed at HR teams in midsize and large organizations. It supplements standard benchmarked surveys with an AI Adoption Scan and AI-assisted analysis of open survey comments.

Effectory, headquartered in Amsterdam with an additional office in Munich, builds survey-based tools for the full employee lifecycle: engagement and pulse surveys, onboarding and exit surveys, team-development scans, a Leadership Role Compass and an ESG-for-HR module, all benchmarked against Effectory's own reference data. The company was founded in 1996, has around 200 staff, and states more than 1,200 customer organizations across 110 countries. Growth-equity investor Maguar Capital Partners has held a majority stake since 2022. Questions to ask before you buy Effectory

Before buying, confirm exactly which package tier includes SSO, non-desk-worker support and the correlation/key-driver analysis, since these are gated by plan and pricing is quote-only. Data is processed within the EEA under GDPR, but a signed Art. 28 data-processing agreement should still be requested. Because retention/flight-risk scoring and leadership scans touch individual assessment, German works councils have co-determination rights under Section 87(1)(6) BetrVG, and EU AI Act obligations for HR-related high-risk uses start applying from December 2, 2027.
