IONOS AI Model Hub AI features, pricing and GDPR (October 2026)

The IONOS AI Model Hub provides selected language and image models as a managed service from European data centers, for companies that want to use generative AI by API with a German contracting partner.

It offers curated large language models, embedding models and text-to-image models through an OpenAI-compatible API, so existing code can be pointed at it with little change. According to the product page, all requests are processed in European data centers and deleted right afterwards. For retrieval-augmented generation, IONOS combines embeddings with its managed PostgreSQL database with pgvector. The page lists ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 50001 certificates from TÜV NORD.
