Msty Studio is a desktop and web workspace for working with local and hosted language models in one interface. It suits individuals and teams that want chats and documents to stay on their own devices while choosing models freely.

Msty Studio runs on macOS, Windows and Linux. It connects local inference engines such as MLX, llama.cpp and Ollama with hosted providers and offers Split Chats, Crew Conversations with several personas, Knowledge Stacks for document retrieval, Agent Mode and a Media Studio for images. The paid Aurum plan adds Studio Web and providers such as Azure and Amazon Bedrock.

Beyond Studio, Msty Go, currently in beta, provides bounded task agents, and Msty Nexus acts as a gateway for runtimes, providers, credentials and usage policies. Msty is a product of CloudStack, LLC. According to its privacy policy, session data stays on the user's device or in systems the user connects, and the apps collect no product telemetry.

• Runs multi-step agent tasksAgent Mode moves beyond single prompts to multi-step, tool-aware execution inside Studio. Msty Go, a free beta, adds scoped agents with reviewable execution that can also be reached through Discord, Telegram or WhatsApp.

CloudStack, LLC, the company behind Msty, is based in Powell, Ohio, according to the developer directory EveryDev. The desktop app runs on your own computer, so use does not depend on the country.

Msty holds no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification yet, which may matter for your vendor risk review. Local models keep data on the device, but once staff add hosted providers, those providers' data terms apply. Clarify the Enterprise and Teams terms with sales, which start at five seats and include SSO, roles and audit logs, and ask whether a data processing agreement is available for your setup.
