Rankmi is an HR platform from Chile that began with performance and climate management and now also covers payroll, benefits and communications. Its AI looks for bias in evaluations and runs an assistant that answers employee questions across several channels.

Rankmi groups its product into four areas: a base platform with the AI assistant, administration and payroll with time tracking and digital signature, talent and development with performance reviews, continuous feedback, development plans, goals, training, recruiting and 9-box succession, and culture and wellbeing with climate surveys, recognition and benefits. Founded in 2014, the company is based in Santiago de Chile, has offices in Mexico, Peru, Colombia and Argentina and reports more than 1,800 clients with over 2 million users. • Detects bias in performance ratingsIn multi-rater evaluations the AI looks for inconsistencies and patterns of bias across reviewers and helps standardize assessment criteria. HR gets a basis for calibration meetings instead of checking rating distributions by hand.
• Writes performance reportsThe performance module produces AI-enhanced reports from evaluation results. Managers and HR receive a written summary of results, which they can turn into action plans with assigned tasks in the same module.
• Answers employee questionsRankmi AI Assistant is available in every module and through the web, the mobile app, Slack, Microsoft Teams and WhatsApp. It answers employee questions and automates repetitive tasks, so HR teams handle fewer routine requests.
• Warns about risks in the workforceThe platform sends predictive alerts on turnover, detects talent gaps from performance data and flags budget deviations. HR leaders can act on at-risk teams earlier than with periodic reports and adjust budgets in time.

• Holds ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701 for privacy management and ISO 37001 for anti-bribery, listed in its trust center.
• Data is hosted on AWS in Oregon and Virginia; the privacy policy names OpenAI and OpenRouter as AI providers and rules out training public models on client data.
• Offers 9-box succession planning and action plans next to reviews in the same talent module.

Rankmi is headquartered in Santiago, Chile, aligns its data protection with Chilean Law 21.719, and names Chilean customers such as CCU and Entel.

Rankmi fits mid-size and large employers in Chile and other Spanish-speaking Latin American markets. Data is stored in the United States, with transfers covered by standard contractual clauses and a transfer impact assessment in the trust center. AI-supported performance evaluation of staff in the EU counts as high risk under the EU AI Act from December 2, 2027, so plan human review and documentation before using it for EU employees.
