What is SAP Joule for Microsoft 365 Copilot?
SAP Joule for Microsoft 365 Copilot connects SAP's AI assistant with Microsoft Copilot and Teams in both directions. Employees ask SAP questions from Copilot with @Joule, and Joule can draw on Microsoft 365 emails and chats.
The integration is a managed SAP and Microsoft feature, not a custom Copilot Studio agent. It supports SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public and Private Edition, SAP SuccessFactors, selected SAP Ariba scenarios and other SAP cloud applications that Joule supports. Setup requires SAP Business Technology Platform with Identity Authentication, Joule enabled in the SAP applications, Microsoft Entra ID admin access and enabling the Joule agent in the Microsoft 365 or Teams admin center. Microsoft Learn documents it with a page updated in September 2026.
