What is Tavily?
Tavily is a web access API for AI agents and assistants. Developers use it to give language models current search results, page content and multi-step web research, with a free monthly allowance to start.
Tavily offers Search, Extract, Crawl, Map and Research endpoints that return cleaned, chunked content for language models. It integrates with frameworks and model providers, and states it is used by more than two million developers. The operating company is AlphaAI Technologies Inc. with an address in New York. In February 2026 Tavily announced that it is joining Nebius, an AI infrastructure company.

Check how many credits each request type uses, since advanced search, extraction and research consume more than a basic search. Tavily links a trust center at trust.tavily.com, whose contents we could not read, and a data processing agreement was not published on the website at our check in September 2026, so request security reports and the DPA. Review whether the content you crawl may be reused under the source sites' terms.
