What is Haufe CoPilot Tax?
Haufe CoPilot Tax is the AI assistant inside Haufe Steuer Office, a German tax research database for tax advisers, tax firms and their staff. It answers tax questions in a dialogue, cites the underlying Haufe content and can analyze uploaded contracts, guidelines or letters.
Haufe launched CoPilot Tax on June 5, 2024 and includes it in every version of Haufe Steuer Office at no extra charge. The assistant draws only on Haufe's legally reviewed tax content, such as commentaries, books and lexicons, rather than open web sources, and links each answer to its sources. It supports follow-up questions, saved prompt templates for frequent questions, document upload and voice input on mobile devices. Data is stored on European servers operated by Amazon Web Services and, according to Haufe, is not used to train large language models. The provider is Haufe-Lexware in Freiburg.
