Jahresabschluss.io prepares German annual financial statements under HGB for limited companies and other entities required to publish accounts. Users upload a trial balance, AI maps the accounts and drafts the notes, and the software files the e-balance sheet and tax returns through ELSTER.

The workflow is short: upload the trial balance, answer targeted questions, then review and approve. The software produces balance sheet, income statement, notes and management report, files the e-balance sheet in XBRL format, and prepares VAT returns, corporate tax and trade tax returns. Optional bookkeeping covers receipts, bank, receivables and payables and fixed assets. Tax firms get their own plan.
