Professional costs $84 per seat per month ($1,000 per seat per year, billed annually) for the first three seats under the limited Starter offer until October 31, 2026, then $150 per month ($1,800 per year) from the fourth seat; regular price $2,199 per seat per year, about $183 per month. Enterprise on request. Runtime Engine and TestCloud are add-ons. As of October 2026.

Katalon is a test automation platform for web, mobile, API and desktop applications that uses AI to generate test cases from requirements, repair broken tests and connect coding agents to testing, for QA teams from single testers to large enterprises.
The platform consists of Katalon Studio for writing tests, TestOps for test management including AI-assisted manual testing, TrueTest for insights from production usage, and a Runtime Engine for execution. It supports record and playback as well as scripted tests, including Windows desktop apps in Studio. Katalon is headquartered in Atlanta and says more than 30,000 teams use its products. A free plan covers local testing without AI features.

AI features start with the Professional plan; the free plan has no AI assistant. Seat prices rise from the fourth seat, and add-ons such as the Runtime Engine and cloud devices are billed separately, so calculate the full setup. Check which products can be hosted in Europe, since availability varies by product and deployment model. SSO and SCIM require Enterprise.
