Matterport is a 3D digital twin platform for real estate professionals, facility teams and builders. It turns a captured space into an interactive 3D model and uses AI for measurements, floor plans, defurnishing and property data.

Matterport, headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, has been part of CoStar Group since February 2025. Users capture a space with a phone, tablet or 360 camera and get a digital twin that supports 3D tours, schematic floor plans, MatterPak technical files, measurements and tags. Publishing options include Google Street View, Homes.com, Apartments.com and LoopNet.com, and integrations include Autodesk Forma and Procore. At the time of the acquisition, the vendor stated 14 million spaces digitized in 177 countries. Plans range from a free tier for individuals to Enterprise for large organizations with custom roles and APIs.

Plan amounts were not visible on the pages we checked, so confirm the price per Active Space before you commit. Matterport runs on AWS and offers a data processing addendum that refers to GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and PIPEDA; the pages we checked do not name hosting regions, so ask where scans are stored. Scans of occupied homes or offices can capture people and documents, so agree on blurring and retention. Advanced AI features depend on the plan.
