What is Nomentia?
Nomentia is a European treasury and cash management suite for midsize and large companies that connects banks and ERPs, centralizes payments, manages risk and liquidity, and uses AI to generate cash flow forecasts from historical data.
The Smart Treasury Suite has six modules: Connect for more than 10,000 bank connections and links to ERPs, trading platforms and market data, Pay for central payments with fraud prevention and sanctions screening, View for cash positions and forecasting, Manage for debt, investments, derivatives and guarantees, Optimise for cash pooling, netting and reconciliation, and Advise for AI assistants and analytics. Nomentia is headquartered in Espoo, Finland, with offices in six other European countries, including Germany and Austria, and names customers such as Lufthansa, Makita, Porsche and KONE.
Nomentia AI features and use cases
- Generates reference forecastsIn Nomentia View, AI generates reference cash flow forecasts from historical bank transactions and ERP data, ideally three years of history. Treasury compares manual and AI forecasts side by side and sees where planners' assumptions deviate.
- Selects forecasting modelsAn auto-select function evaluates the available forecasting models and applies the most suitable one for each use case. Users can also set which transactions, models, time horizons and entities the AI analyzes. Treasury does not need data scientists to choose a method.
- Handles outliers and seasonalityThe AI detects and corrects outliers in the transaction history and takes seasonal patterns into account. One-off payments distort the forecast less, and recurring peaks are reflected in the projection.
What sets Nomentia apart
- The security page lists ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISAE 3402 Type II, which helps external auditors.
- European vendor with offices in Germany and Austria and more than 10,000 bank connections.
- The AI forecast is shown next to the manual forecast instead of replacing it.

Questions to ask before you buy Nomentia
Clarify which modules you need and whether AI forecasting in Nomentia View is part of the quote. Ask where data is hosted and for the DPA and sub-processor list, which Nomentia provides through its representatives rather than on the security page. Check whether you have enough transaction history for the AI models and how payment approvals enforce dual control.
