What is Lunos?
Lunos is an accounts receivable platform built around AI agents. It handles collections outreach, invoice disputes, cash application questions and contact research for B2B companies, from small teams on QuickBooks or Xero to enterprises with several entities.
Lunos connects to accounting systems such as NetSuite, Xero and QuickBooks, to CRMs such as Salesforce and HubSpot, and to Stripe and the team's email. Agents work from the open items and the communication history, and for each customer the AR team chooses whether agents only monitor, suggest actions for approval or act on their own. A free cash flow forecast tool is offered separately. Lunos Inc is based in New York. Pricing ranges from a commission-based plan for small teams to a flat annual fee and custom enterprise contracts with multiple ledgers and entities.
Lunos AI features and use cases
- Runs collections outreachThe Collections Agent contacts customers with overdue invoices by email and phone, reads their replies and tracks promises to pay. It looks at payment history to choose timing and wording, so the AR team spends less time on routine reminders.
- Works through invoice disputesThe Dispute Management Agent answers customer questions about charges and supplies calculations or documents. Once the issue is settled and the customer commits to pay, it records a promise to pay, which keeps disputed cash from being forgotten.
- Supports cash applicationAn agent requests remittance details when a payment cannot be allocated and tells customers when they paid into an outdated bank account. Accountants get cleaner payment data and fewer unexplained items at month-end.
- Finds the right contactThe contact-finding agent locates finance contacts inside the customer organization, handles out-of-office replies and updates contact records. Reminders reach someone who can pay instead of a generic inbox. Out-of-office replies are routed to a finance contact who can act.
What sets Lunos apart
- Offers a commission-based plan at 0.3% of collected amounts next to a flat annual fee, both shown on the pricing page.
- Autonomy is set per customer in three modes, Monitor, Suggest and Act; in Growth and Enterprise, auto-approvals in Act mode can be customized.
- Connects to QuickBooks and Xero as well as NetSuite, which makes it usable for small companies and larger finance teams.
Where Lunos is strongest
Lunos Inc is based in New York and processes data in the United States, according to its privacy policy.
Questions to ask before you buy Lunos
Data is processed in the United States, and Lunos relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses for transfers, so European buyers should request a data processing agreement. The agents write to your customers in your name, so agree on tone, approval rules and escalation. SSO is limited to the Enterprise plan, and ERP connectors differ by plan.
