AuditFile AI features, pricing and GDPR (October 2026)

AuditFile is cloud audit software for small and midsize CPA firms that perform audits, reviews and compilations. It combines methodology, risk assessment, trial balance, workpapers and reporting with AI agents that prepare request lists, risk assessments, financial statements and disclosure checklists.

AuditFile keeps a firm's methodology and engagement file in one cloud system, with the Advantage Audit step-by-step program and AICPA reviewed quality control materials. Plans are Professional, Pro Plus, and Enterprise and Gov, and the Advantage AI Audit Agents are built into Pro Plus. In September 2026 AuditFile launched the Agentic AI Orchestrator Suite for Pro Plus and Enterprise customers, which assigns, tracks and reviews agents in the same way as human staff. The website lists SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR and PIPEDA compliance.

AuditFile targets US CPA firms, its methodology materials are AICPA reviewed, and named customers are based in the US, for example in Miami, Rock Hill and Greenville.

AuditFile follows US standards and AICPA materials, so it fits US engagements rather than audits under German or international local rules. The AI agents require Pro Plus or Enterprise, and SSO only comes with Enterprise. Data is hosted in the US by default, with regional hosting in the EU or Canada, but AI interactions run in US regions. The privacy policy names AWS, Microsoft Azure, Anthropic and OpenAI as subprocessors.
