What is LEGALFLY?
LEGALFLY is a legal AI platform for in-house teams in regulated enterprises such as banks and insurers. It reviews and drafts contracts, answers legal questions, runs bulk due diligence and monitors regulatory change, anonymizing documents before analysis.
The platform combines Discovery for research and document work, Review for contract review and negotiation, Draft, Multi Review for data rooms, Legal Radar for regulatory monitoring and Agent Studio for workflows triggered from email, Slack or Teams. Add-ins bring the functions into Microsoft Word and Outlook, and teams outside legal, such as procurement, sales, HR and claims, can use it within set guardrails.
LegalFly BV was founded by four former AI leaders at Tinder and is based in Ghent, Belgium, with offices in London and Dubai. It targets enterprises with their own legal function, especially in banking, insurance and professional services.
LEGALFLY AI features and use cases
- Reviews contracts against playbooksReview detects contract type, jurisdiction, language and party roles, then checks every clause against the company's playbook and proposes redlines with an explanation for each issue. Legal teams get faster first-pass reviews and consistent positions across regions.
- Answers legal questions with sourcesDiscovery takes a question or an uploaded document, researches verified legislation and case law across more than 130 jurisdictions and returns answers with citations. It can also route complex requests to the right agent or produce Word, Excel or PowerPoint files.
- Runs bulk due diligenceMulti Review imports whole data rooms from SharePoint or other document systems and applies one playbook to hundreds of documents at once. It flags missing clauses and outliers and turns key terms into structured data for audits and transactions.
- Monitors regulatory changeLegal Radar tracks official regulators and publishers across more than 70 jurisdictions, detects new obligations and maps them to internal policies and playbooks. Each alert includes a plain-English summary, source links and next steps, which reduces manual horizon scanning.
What sets LEGALFLY apart
- Documents are pseudonymized before analysis, including text, images and handwritten notes, and anonymization levels can be adjusted.
- Deployment options include SaaS, a single-tenant instance in the customer's preferred Azure region, and single tenant with on-premises anonymization.
- The trust center lists Anthropic and OpenAI as inference providers that receive pseudonymized content only, with zero retention and no training.
- Legal research covers more than 130 jurisdictions, and regulatory monitoring more than 70.

Questions to ask before you buy LEGALFLY
LEGALFLY does not publish prices, so ask how modules and business users outside legal are licensed. Decide which deployment model you need and, for a single tenant, which Azure region. The trust center names Microsoft Azure, Auth0, PostHog, Anthropic and OpenAI as subprocessors; check whether anyone may switch off anonymization. SSO through Okta, Azure AD or Google Workspace is supported, but the plan it belongs to is not stated.

Questions about LEGALFLY
Does LEGALFLY send client data to AI model providers?
According to the trust center, Anthropic and OpenAI process pseudonymized content only, unless a customer explicitly enables processing without anonymization. Both run with zero retention and no training.
Can LEGALFLY run in our own environment?
Yes. Besides SaaS, LEGALFLY offers a dedicated single-tenant instance in a chosen Azure region. An anonymization component can also run inside the customer's environment so identifiable data never leaves it.
Which certifications does LEGALFLY hold?
The trust center lists ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type II, with reports available on request. The security page adds annual independent penetration tests.
