What is Legartis?

Legartis is a Swiss legal AI workspace for in-house legal teams that reviews contracts against company playbooks, runs a legal agent and tracks contracts and risks.

Legartis combines AI Contract Review, a Contract Playbook Creator, Contract Insights on risks and team capacity, Contract Management for tracking status and a Legal Agent for drafting, research and custom workflows. Legartis Technology AG is registered in Zurich. It names customers such as dormakaba, Emmi, Zürcher Kantonalbank, Fiege, Oechsler and Framatome, which points to mid-sized and large companies with their own legal department.

Legartis AI features and use cases

  • Reviews contracts against house rulesAI Contract Review checks incoming contracts against the company's own standards and shows deviations clause by clause. Legal teams handle routine agreements faster and apply the same positions every time.
  • Builds playbooks for contract typesThe Playbook Creator lets the team define its positions per contract type, such as NDAs or supply agreements. The knowledge of experienced lawyers becomes reusable for the whole department.
  • Works as a legal agent with limitsThe Legal Agent drafts, researches and runs multi-step workflows, with configurable thresholds for what it may decide alone and when it escalates. Routine work moves to the agent while people keep control over exceptions.

What sets Legartis apart

  • Servers exclusively in Switzerland and Europe, ISO 27001 certified, with a complete audit trail and no third-party data sharing.
  • For each requirement the team sets a threshold: anything below passes automatically, anything above goes to the person who owns the decision.

Questions to ask before you buy Legartis

Legartis does not publish prices, so ask for the model by user or contract volume. Decide early who writes and maintains the playbooks, since review quality depends on them. Set the agent's approval thresholds deliberately and document which decisions stay with lawyers.
