According to the German pricing page for companies up to 300 users: the Copilot Business add-on costs 18.20 euros per user per month with an annual commitment (15.60 euros as a promotion until December 31, 2026) or 21.84 euros on a monthly subscription. Microsoft 365 Business Standard with Copilot costs 20.36 euros and Business Premium with Copilot 27.73 euros per user per month with an annual commitment. Copilot Chat is included for existing customers at no extra cost.

Microsoft Copilot is the AI assistant inside Microsoft 365, answering questions and drafting content from a company's own email, documents, meetings and chats, aimed at organizations that already use Microsoft 365.
Microsoft renamed Microsoft 365 Copilot to Microsoft Copilot during 2026. It connects large language models with content in Microsoft Graph, such as emails, chats and documents a user has permission to see, and with the Office apps. Plans include chat grounded in work data, Copilot in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, prebuilt agents and custom agents via Copilot Studio. Microsoft is headquartered in Redmond.

Questions to ask before you buy Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365)
Copilot shows everything a user is allowed to open, so clean up SharePoint and Teams permissions first. Decide whether to allow Anthropic models, which fall outside the EU Data Boundary. The SMB bundles apply up to 300 users. In the US, check state rules such as those in Colorado and Illinois if Copilot output supports decisions about employees.
