Nmbrs is a Dutch cloud platform for payroll, HR, invoicing and accounting, built mainly for Dutch small and midsize businesses and their accountants, with an AI assistant that helps process payroll and answer tax questions.

Nmbrs bundles payroll and HR administration with invoicing, accounting and reporting modules, plus more than 350 integrations with tools such as AFAS, Exact and Salesforce. Based in Amsterdam with additional Dutch and Portuguese offices, the company belongs to the Norwegian software group Visma and states it serves more than 500,000 Dutch companies and 1.6 million people through its payroll product, largely via accounting firms.

Nmbrs is marketed in Dutch and built for Dutch payroll legislation, headquartered in Amsterdam and part of the Visma group, with a customer base the company says covers more than 500,000 Dutch companies.

Nmbrs publishes pricing per module on separate pages rather than one combined list, so it is worth checking payroll, invoicing and accounting costs separately for your headcount. The product and its checks are built specifically for Dutch payroll law, so it fits Dutch entities rather than multi-country payroll. Because the AI assistant processes personal salary and tax data, an EU customer still needs a data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR, even though hosting stays within the EU.
