What is TeamSpirit?

TeamSpirit is a back-office suite on the Salesforce Platform from Tokyo for attendance, labor management, expenses, project hours and talent management. Its AI Shift Agent drafts shift schedules that respect labor law, staff qualifications and store rules.

TeamSpirit Inc., founded in 1996, headquartered in Tokyo and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth market (4397), sells cloud modules for attendance, talent management, labor management, safety confirmation, pulse surveys, expense claims, work-hour tracking and project cost management. The applications run as Salesforce AppExchange apps. The company reports more than 2,200 contracted companies and over 700,000 users as of February 2026. The AI Shift Agent targets retail, food service and pharmacies with many sites and plugs into TeamSpirit Attendance. Synclog, an AI meeting minutes service, is sold as a separate product with its own website.

TeamSpirit AI features and use cases

  • Drafts shift schedulesThe AI Shift Agent generates a first draft of the shift plan from staff preferences submitted by smartphone or PC, required staffing, qualifications such as pharmacist licenses, staff pairings and store rules. Managers then only adjust the problem spots. TeamSpirit estimates the saving at 20 to 30 hours of shift planning a month.
  • Takes site rules in plain languageAdministrators enter site rules in natural language, for example that weekends need at least one full-time employee, and the agent applies them when building the draft. Planners do not have to translate every local rule into a configuration setting.
  • Flags labor law risks in draftsEach draft is checked for overtime limits, rest intervals between shifts, consecutive working days and company rules, sorted into errors and warnings. Supervisors see compliance issues before the plan is published, when they are still easy to fix.
  • Writes meeting minutesSynclog, TeamSpirit's separate AI minutes service, transcribes meetings in Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or in person, identifies speakers and summarizes the topics. According to the vendor, minutes are ready within three minutes after a meeting.

What sets TeamSpirit apart

  • Runs on the Salesforce Platform, so data, users and permissions sit in a Salesforce environment.
  • Built around Japanese labor law, including rest intervals between shifts and variable working hour systems.
  • The AI Shift Agent is priced separately at 300 yen per person per month, with at least 30 licenses.
  • Holds ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27017 for cloud security and the Japanese PrivacyMark, according to its security page.

Questions to ask before you buy TeamSpirit

TeamSpirit targets Japanese employers: interface, labor rules and support are Japanese, and core modules require at least 50 users plus a one-time setup fee. Check your Salesforce licensing and where your Salesforce org stores data, since TeamSpirit states no hosting region. Support for staff moving between sites is still in development for the Shift Agent.

  • AI Promotion Act favors guidelines over hard rules
  • No works councils, but Article 36 agreements cover many workplaces
