What is Agiloft?
Agiloft is a no-code contract lifecycle management platform for legal and procurement teams. Its Astra product adds AI contract review in Microsoft Word, playbooks and portfolio analysis, and can be used on its own or together with the CLM.
Agiloft Inc. is based in Redwood City, California. The CLM platform covers contract request, negotiation, execution and renewal, and administrators configure approval chains and processes without code. Customers include legal, procurement and finance teams in industries such as healthcare, financial services and manufacturing. FTV Capital invested in 2020 and KKR in 2024, and Agiloft acquired Screens in 2025. Astra, launched in 2026, analyzes contracts before and after signature and is also offered separately with a free tier. A hosted service on AWS is available, with same-day setup according to the vendor, and paid support plans come in three tiers.
Agiloft AI features and use cases
- Reviews and redlines contracts in WordAstra applies a team's playbooks or expert Community Screens to a contract inside Microsoft Word and suggests redlines. Reviewers get consistent checks against the same standards, and the review in Word does not use credits according to the vendor.
- Analyzes many contracts at onceProjects and portfolio analysis let teams run Astra across a set of agreements, extract structured insights and compare terms. Legal and procurement teams find patterns and outliers without reading each contract one by one.
- Answers questions about the portfolioAstra Assistant takes questions in natural language and surfaces risks, obligations and trends across stored contracts. Business teams can get an answer from contract data without waiting for legal to search manually.
- Extracts data inside the CLMAgiloft CLM combines advanced search with AI extraction to surface terms, risks and obligations from agreements. Customers receive Astra through the AI on the Inside package, which turns stored contracts into a queryable knowledge base.
What sets Agiloft apart
- Astra has a free tier with 1,000 credits per month and no time limit, and review in Word does not use credits.
- The CLM is configured with no code, so approved team members can change contracts and approval chains without support tickets.
- The vendor states an Astra Clean Data Promise: contracts are never used to train AI models.
- Annual SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 certifications, with a public trust portal.
