What is Bujeti?

Bujeti is a finance management platform from Nigeria that brings expense management, corporate cards, bill payments, invoicing and payroll into one tool. Its AI layer, BRAIN, answers finance questions, watches transactions and processes receipts.

Bujeti covers expense requests and approvals, virtual and physical corporate cards, bulk payments and payment automation, bank connections, invoicing, tax management, payroll and multi-currency accounts, with web and mobile apps. The company is based in Lekki, Lagos, and says that more than 1,000 CFOs, controllers, accountants and finance admins use the platform.

Prices are per user in naira. The AI features are strongest in the Scale plan, which adds advanced OCR and AI, API access and advanced treasury tools. The product suits Nigerian companies with a finance function that handles many payments and receipts.

Bujeti AI features and use cases

  • Answers finance questionsUsers ask BRAIN about spend, cash flow or budgets in plain language and get an answer drawn from the company's Bujeti data. Managers get figures without waiting for a report, and the finance team handles fewer ad hoc requests.
  • Monitors transactionsBRAIN watches every transaction in real time and flags out-of-policy spend and anomalies. Finance staff see unusual payments early and can react before month end instead of finding problems during the close.
  • Processes receipts and invoicesBRAIN extracts data from receipts and invoices, assigns categories and codes them to accounts. Accounting staff review suggested entries instead of typing them, which speeds up posting and makes reconciliation with cards and bank accounts easier.

What sets Bujeti apart

  • Combines spend management with payroll, invoicing and tax management in one Nigerian platform.
  • Priced per user in naira; advanced OCR and AI are listed only in the Scale plan.
  • States compliance with Nigeria's NDPR and with PCI DSS for card data.

Questions to ask before you buy Bujeti
