Claude AI features and pricing (October 2026)

Claude is Anthropic's AI assistant for writing, analysis, research and coding, offered as a free app, as individual subscriptions and as Team and Enterprise workspaces for companies.

Claude offers chat, web search, file creation, code execution, memory and artifacts on every plan. Paid plans add projects, the Research function, connectors to other tools, Claude Code and extensions for Chrome and Microsoft 365. Team adds central billing, SSO and enterprise search, and Enterprise adds SCIM, audit logs, role-based access and custom data retention. Anthropic PBC is registered in San Francisco.

• Prepares cited research reportsResearch runs several searches across the web and connected tools and writes a report with sources. Teams preparing a market overview or a supplier comparison start from a structured draft instead of an empty page.
• Keeps context for recurring workProjects hold reference files and standing instructions, so a team can reuse the same style guide or product sheet in every chat. Answers stay consistent without pasting the same material again.
• Works with company toolsConnectors let Claude read and act in connected applications. Staff can ask about documents or tickets where they already live, which saves switching between tools.
• Supports developers in the terminalClaude Code, included from the Pro plan, reads a codebase, edits files and runs commands on request. Development teams can hand over well defined programming tasks and review the result.

• Team plan for 2 to 150 people with SSO and no model training on company data by default.
• Enterprise pricing combines a seat fee with usage billed at API rates, so heavy users do not hit fixed plan limits.

Anthropic PBC has its registered address in San Francisco; Anthropic Ireland is the controller for users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland.

Individual plans (Free, Pro, Max) let users opt out of training, while Team and Enterprise exclude it by default, so route business use through a company workspace. Check which connectors may access internal systems. In the US, state rules in Colorado and Illinois apply if outputs feed into hiring or other decisions about people.
