Manageboard AI features and pricing (October 2026)

Manageboard is a Japanese cloud service for budget-versus-actual management, budgeting, cash flow and KPI reporting. It pulls data from accounting software and uses AI to flag unusual ledger entries and summarize what drove changes.

Manageboard connects to Japanese accounting systems such as Money Forward Cloud Accounting, freee and Kanjo Bugyo Cloud, and also imports CSV and spreadsheet files. It links financial statements with non-financial KPIs, supports budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning and consolidated views, and offers flexible report layouts for management meetings and accounting firms.

The product was built by Knowledge Labo, which joined the Money Forward group in 2018, and is now operated by Money Forward Consulting in Tokyo. A November 2025 press release reported more than 10,000 cumulative implementations.

• Flags unusual ledger entriesAI anomaly detection applies several statistical checks, such as distribution analysis, to the ledger and flags amounts that fall outside the expected range. Each alert comes with an explanatory comment, so controllers review the few items that matter instead of scanning every account.
• Summarizes what drove variancesThe performance analysis agent reads the descriptions in general ledger entries and summarizes why an account went up or down. Finance teams spend less time aggregating detail and more time discussing the result with management.

Manageboard runs in Japanese and reads Japanese accounting systems, so it fits companies whose books are kept in Japan. Prices, hosting location and certifications are not published, while the pricing page lists single sign-on and IP address restriction in all three plans; ask Money Forward Consulting for them together with the data processing terms. Contracts run annually with a fee for early termination, so plan a pilot before signing.
