Mindee is a document processing API from Paris that extracts data from invoices, receipts, identity documents, resumes and custom document types and returns structured JSON. Developers and product teams in companies of any size build it into their own applications.

Mindee offers prebuilt extraction models and custom models that need no training and handle any alphabet and language, plus utilities for classification, splitting and cropping. Pricing is based on credits, with one processed page equal to one credit and extra charges for confidence scores and utilities. Mindee is based in Paris. By default, data is hosted by Amazon Web Services in Ireland; for clients in the United States, personal data is hosted in the US unless agreed otherwise. Documentation, SDKs and a status page are public.

Estimate your monthly pages and the credit cost per model, since features such as confidence scores raise the credit use per page. Plan amounts are shown in the pricing tool rather than as fixed figures, so ask for a quote for larger volumes. Mindee publishes a data processing agreement with a list of sub-processors; review it if documents contain personal data, such as ID cards or resumes.
