Mistral Vibe (formerly Le Chat) AI features, pricing and GDPR (October 2026)

Mistral Vibe, known as Le Chat until 2026, is the AI assistant of the Paris model developer Mistral AI for work and coding tasks, with EU data hosting by default and on-premises options for enterprises.

Vibe runs on Mistral's own models and covers chat, deep research across web and internal documents, document creation, email and meeting briefings, coding and workflow automation. It connects to more than 100 tools such as email, calendar, Slack, GitHub and Jira through connectors and MCP. Enterprise customers can deploy it on premises, in a private cloud or on Mistral Cloud, and fine-tune models via Mistral Forge.

• Produces office documentsVibe creates and edits PDFs, decks and reports from a prompt. Teams skip the formatting step for first drafts.
• Prepares meetings and inboxesBriefings summarize emails and upcoming meetings. Managers enter a meeting with the relevant context gathered in advance.

• European provider with EU hosting by default; a US API endpoint is optional.
• Enterprise deployment on premises or in a private cloud, which suits organizations that cannot use a shared cloud.

Mistral AI is registered in Paris, and data is hosted in the EU by default.

Some features can temporarily transfer data outside the EU to subprocessors listed in Mistral's trust center; Enterprise customers can switch off some of these features at organization level. SAML SSO is only listed for Enterprise. Review the public data processing addendum before rollout.
