Recruitee, now part of Tellent, is a Dutch applicant tracking system built for midsize employers, roughly 50 to 1,000 staff, across Europe, with AI tools for writing job ads and organizing candidate evaluations.

Recruitee covers career-site building, employee referrals, agency recruitment, candidate assessment, interview collaboration, digital offer letters and onboarding, with reporting and more than 200 third-party integrations. It is built for growth-stage and mid-market companies, typically between 50 and 1,000 employees, where informal hiring no longer scales. The vendor reports more than 7,000 customer companies and 180,000 daily users, with named references including Marks and Spencer and WÜSTHOF. Recruitee originated in the Netherlands and now operates as part of Tellent's broader people-decision platform, active in more than 120 countries.

• Writes job ads in secondsThe AI turns a few bullet points into a complete job ad draft. Hiring managers get a usable posting immediately instead of starting from a blank page or an old template, according to the vendor.
• Organizes and scores incoming applicationsAI assistance helps sort and evaluate incoming candidates as they arrive, giving hiring teams a structured view of the pipeline. This reduces the manual sorting needed to see which applications deserve a closer look first.
• Rediscovers past candidates for new rolesThe Matching Assistant searches the candidates already stored in the ATS against the criteria of a new job and suggests relevant profiles. Recruiters reuse their existing talent pool instead of starting every search from scratch, and the vendor states the results are designed for human review.
• Personalizes candidate outreach messagesAI-assisted templates help recruiters send personalized messages to candidates with one click instead of writing each message individually. This is aimed at keeping candidates engaged through a longer hiring process without extra manual effort.

• Built specifically for the 50-to-1,000-employee range, positioned against both informal small-team hiring and large enterprise suites.
• Part of Tellent's modular People Decision Platform, so it can be paired with separate Core HR and performance-management modules.
• States explicit local labor-law support across the DACH region, Benelux and France, not just interface translation.
• Minimum one-year commitment on paid plans, with a 20 percent discount for annual billing.

Recruitee originated in the Netherlands and is headquartered there, with named Dutch customers including Ballast Nedam and Van Mossel.

Before signing, note that paid plans require a minimum one-year commitment, so confirm which of the Start, Advance or Optimize tiers covers the features you need. Because its AI organizes and scores candidate evaluations, German employers should involve the works council under Section 87(1) No. 6 BetrVG, arrange a data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR, and review EU AI Act obligations for recruitment AI, which apply from December 2, 2027.
