RemotePass is a platform from the UAE for employer of record, contractor management and local payroll in more than 150 countries. An AI assistant answers and acts on workforce data, and a Payroll Agent flags payroll items for human review.

RemotePass lets companies hire employees abroad without a local entity through an employer of record (EOR), engage and pay contractors, run local payroll in employees' currencies, and handle visas, relocation and background checks. Payments can go out in local currency, US dollars or stablecoins, and SpendCards serve as corporate cards. The company reports more than 1,000 customers, over 35,000 workers and more than $1 billion in payments processed, with clients such as Logitech, Deloitte, Careem and Huda Beauty. In May 2026 it raised a 17.4 million dollar Series B led by EBRD Venture Capital.

• Answers HR and payroll questionsAsk AI answers questions about the company's RemotePass data in any language, drawing on live account data and a knowledge base on employment rules in more than 150 countries built by RemotePass's payroll and legal teams. HR and finance get answers on contracts or local rules without opening a support ticket.
• Acts on contracts and approvalsAsk AI can also carry out 13 actions, such as amending a contract, approving a pending payment or changing an approval flow. Every action sits behind a permission the customer controls, and by default Ask AI asks before acting, which keeps routine admin quick but supervised.
• Flags payroll items for reviewThe Payroll Agent checks each payroll run against instructions the customer writes, for example on bonuses, deviations from contracted pay, countries or currencies. Matches are flagged with the agent's reasoning and logged permanently. It never approves or declines on its own, so finance reviews only the exceptions.
• Connects Claude or ChatGPTRemotePass MCP connects MCP-compatible assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT to live RemotePass data through OAuth, with 15 tools for reading and changing contracts, payments and approvals. Users only see data their account may access, and MCP is included at no extra cost.

• Publishes prices: contractors from $39 per month on annual billing, EOR from $349 and local payroll from $15 per employee per month.
• Pays workers in local currency, US dollars or stablecoins and offers corporate SpendCards.
• Customer data is never used to train AI models, according to the Ask AI help article.
• SOC 2 Type II audited annually, with an Okta integration for single sign-on documented in the help center.

Check which of the EOR, contractor and payroll plans you need, since prices differ widely and monthly contractor billing costs far more than annual billing. RemotePass publishes no hosting region, DPA or subprocessor list on its website, so request them under Art. 28 GDPR if EU staff are involved. Set Ask AI and MCP write permissions deliberately, because both can amend contracts and approve payments.
