Payroll AI checks for anomalies before a payroll run and traces a flagged change back to its source. A Visa Eligibility Tool estimates possible work permit routes in more than 50 countries, and a Compliance Hub tracks labor and tax law changes automatically. A mobility team might use this to sanity-check a payroll run, or gauge early whether relocation is realistic for a candidate.

Because Deel spans so many jurisdictions, data residency is worth checking market by market rather than assumed. Deel describes hosting as spread across multiple regions, so HR and legal teams should confirm exactly where employees' data sits. Visa and compliance outputs are a starting point, not legal advice, and immigration or employment questions still belong with qualified counsel. Deel's payroll engine in South Africa now operates as Deel Local Payroll, powered by PaySpace, following the 2024 acquisition of the South African payroll company, a branding still in place in 2026. Deel holds ISO 27001 certification and fits companies of any size operating internationally.
