What is Senseye Predictive Maintenance?
Senseye Predictive Maintenance is Siemens' software for predicting machine failures in manufacturing, extended with the Maintenance Copilot, part of the Siemens Industrial Copilot family. It supports maintenance teams from reactive repair through prevention and prediction.
Senseye was founded in Southampton, UK, and has belonged to Siemens since June 2022, when it joined the Customer Services unit of Siemens Digital Industries. The software builds machine learning models of machine behavior without requiring data science skills. In February 2024 Siemens announced generative AI for all Senseye users from spring 2024, and in March 2025 it announced an Entry Package and a Scale Package with the full Maintenance Copilot, running on Microsoft Azure. According to Siemens, pilots showed an average 25 percent less time spent on reactive maintenance.
Senseye Predictive Maintenance AI features and use cases
- Predicts machine failuresMachine learning models learn the normal behavior of each machine from sensor and control data and warn when it drifts. Maintenance teams move from fixed intervals to condition-based work without hiring data scientists.
- Finds similar past casesThe Maintenance Copilot scans and groups past maintenance cases, even when they were written in different languages, and brings up similar cases with their solutions. Technicians benefit from the experience of other shifts and sites.
- Recommends maintenance actions in a dialogIn a conversational interface, users, the AI and maintenance experts work on a case together, and the system derives prescriptive recommendations from data, protocols and notes. Siemens states that data is processed in a private cloud environment and is not used to train external generative AI.
What sets Senseye Predictive Maintenance apart

Questions to ask before you buy Senseye Predictive Maintenance
Ask which Azure region hosts your data and for the data processing agreement, since the public pages do not name a region. Clarify which package includes the full Maintenance Copilot and how machine data is connected. Maintenance records can name technicians; agree on what the copilot may evaluate about individuals.
