What is Augury?

Augury provides machine health and process monitoring for large manufacturers. Wireless sensors and AI diagnostics warn of developing equipment faults, process AI improves yield, and AI agents support reliability and maintenance staff.

Augury's offering combines its own wireless sensors, Machine Health for rotating equipment, Process Health for production optimization and what the company calls an Industrial AI Workforce of role-based agents. Augury Inc. was founded in 2011 by two Israeli founders and describes itself as a hybrid global company. It reports more than 170 global manufacturers as customers, including DuPont, Hershey's, Heineken, Shell, Coca-Cola, Nestlé and Colgate-Palmolive, and operations in over 40 countries.

Augury AI features and use cases

  • Diagnoses equipment faults earlyAugury's wireless sensors capture vibration, temperature and magnetic flux from motors, pumps, compressors and similar assets, and AI models diagnose developing faults. Maintenance planners schedule repairs before a breakdown stops the line.
  • Optimizes process settingsProcess Health, based on the former Seebo software, uses AI on process data to find conditions that reduce efficiency or yield. Process engineers get targeted recommendations instead of running long trial series.
  • Supports reliability staff with an agentThe Reliability Agent combines machine and operational data, ranks alerts and adds root cause, urgency and recommended corrective action. Reliability engineers spend less time sorting alerts and more time on fixes.

What sets Augury apart

  • Combines its own sensor hardware with AI diagnostics and process optimization from one vendor.
  • Lists ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO 9001:2015, SAML 2.0 single sign-on and X.509 device authentication in its trust center.
