Daftra is a cloud ERP for small and midsize businesses in the Arab world, covering accounting, invoicing, inventory, HR and point of sale. AI reads uploaded invoices and expense receipts, and e-invoicing modules support ZATCA and Egypt's tax authority.

Daftra combines accounting, sales and invoicing, clients, inventory, HR and payroll with apps for point of sale, attendance, stocktaking and an e-invoice reader. It is certified for phase two of Saudi e-invoicing, connecting to the ZATCA Fatoora platform, and offers e-invoice modules for Egypt, Jordan and the UAE. Daftra was built by Izam Web Solutions, and its terms of service name Izam, Inc. as owner and operator under US law; the vendor names headquarters in the United States and Egypt. Daftra cites more than 45,000 businesses.

Plans are priced in US dollars per month with one included user, and AI usage draws on AI Coins.

• Turns scanned documents into recordsWith AI Document Upload, users upload a scanned invoice, estimate or similar document, and the AI extracts line items, quantities, prices, taxes and client or supplier details. It supports seven transaction types in the sales and purchase cycles, so staff type far less.
• Matches extracted data to existing recordsAfter extraction, Daftra matches the data to existing clients, suppliers and products and lets users step in where a match is unclear. Duplicates in master data become less likely, and the accountant keeps control over each record.
• Captures expenses on mobileThe AI Expenses Scanner app lets staff photograph expense receipts anywhere and turns them into expense records. Small companies without a dedicated bookkeeper avoid collecting paper receipts and entering them later.
