Light AI features, pricing and GDPR (October 2026)

Light is a cloud ERP from Copenhagen for companies with several legal entities. It combines a multi-entity general ledger with close, consolidation, payables and receivables, and uses AI agents to run the close checklist, reconciliation and intercompany eliminations.

Light replaces a traditional ERP and the point tools around it. Modules include a multi-entity ledger with consolidated reporting, a close checklist across entities, real-time consolidation with intercompany elimination and currency translation, payables, receivables, cards and bank connections. Light says it works in more than 140 countries with partners including KPMG and supports migrations from NetSuite, SAP, Business Central, Sage Intacct, Xero and QuickBooks. The vendor is Light Company ApS in Copenhagen. Data is hosted on AWS in Ireland, and the trust center lists SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II reports.

• Reconciles bank and card transactionsThe Reconciliation Agent matches bank and card transactions continuously rather than at month end. Accounting starts the close with fewer open items, and differences show up while they are still easy to explain.
• Eliminates intercompany transactionsThe Consolidation Agent eliminates intercompany transactions in real time. Group accounting gets consolidated figures during the month and spends less time on manual elimination entries.
• Processes supplier invoicesThe Bill Agent reads invoices, codes them to accounts and routes them for approval. Payables teams type less, and approval rules set by finance stay in force.

• Built as a full ERP for multi-entity groups, with close and consolidation in the same system as the ledger.

Light replaces the ERP, so plan the migration of history and open items and check local requirements such as e-invoicing, which Light covers via Peppol and country mandates. Review the published data processing agreement, which lists OpenAI among the sub-processors, and the SOC 1 report for your auditors. Clarify which identity providers are supported for single sign-on.
