PagerDuty is an incident management platform for on-call scheduling, alerting and incident response. Its AI package PagerDuty Advance summarizes incidents, drafts status updates and adds AI agents that triage incidents, take notes and manage on-call gaps.
PagerDuty routes alerts from monitoring tools to the right on-call person, manages escalation policies and schedules, and coordinates incident response with status pages and chat integrations in Slack and Teams. The company is headquartered in San Francisco and reports 30,000 organizations and more than 750 integrations. The free plan covers up to five users. The PD Reliability Platform packages include AI Actions.

Questions to ask before you buy PagerDuty
AI Actions are capped per plan, so check whether the allowance covers your incident volume. Choose the EU service region at signup, because an account cannot be split across regions, and note that logs, analytics and support data may be processed outside the chosen region. Define which fixes the SRE Agent may run without a person approving them.
