What is Ledge?

Ledge is close management software for mid-market and enterprise finance teams, often in SaaS, fintech and marketplaces. Accounting agents prepare working papers, reconciliations, journal entries, flux analysis, accruals and intercompany work for review.

Ledge combines a close workspace with checklists and a tracking dashboard, continuous reconciliation and AI agents. It connects to more than 150 systems, including NetSuite, banks, payment providers, billing systems and databases, and is a NetSuite SuiteCloud partner. Plans are Track, Execute and Enterprise with one platform fee, unlimited seats and no implementation fee. Ledge is based in New York with an office in Tel Aviv and names customers such as Lemonade, Fullstory, Optimizely and Zego.

Ledge AI features and use cases

  • Builds working papersAgents build schedules and working papers with balances tied to the general ledger. Accountants start the close with prepared files instead of assembling spreadsheets from exports, and every step is shown rather than hidden.
  • Reconciles accountsAgents reconcile bank, cash and balance sheet accounts and surface exceptions. The team reviews differences during the month, so fewer open items pile up at month end. Each exception links to the underlying transactions.
  • Drafts entries and accrualsAgents turn source data into drafted journal entries and accruals with evidence attached and can post them after approval. Preparation time drops while review stays with the accounting team. Evidence stays attached for auditors.
  • Prepares intercompany and fluxAgents calculate intercompany allocations, prepare eliminations and flag material variances with the supporting transactions. Controllers get explanations backed by data instead of researching each movement. This helps groups with several entities on NetSuite.

What sets Ledge apart

  • Charges one platform fee with unlimited seats and no implementation fee; SSO and role-based access are included.
  • Shows each agent step as traceable reasoning, which the vendor calls glass-box reasoning, to support review and audit.
  • States SOC 1 and SOC 2 certification and shows an ISO 42001 seal for AI management.

Ask for the SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports, hosting region and data processing agreement, and define who approves agent-drafted entries.
