ServiceNow HR Service Delivery AI features, pricing and GDPR (November 2026)

ServiceNow HR Service Delivery is the HR module of ServiceNow's enterprise workflow platform, built for large organizations that want employee requests and cases handled inside the same system as IT and other business functions.

ServiceNow is a US enterprise software company headquartered in Santa Clara, California, with offices in London and Frankfurt documented since 2011 and around 29,000 employees worldwide as of 2025. HR Service Delivery handles employee cases, requests, document generation and HR workflows on the shared Now Platform, alongside IT service management and other business applications. In December 2025 ServiceNow completed its acquisition of Moveworks, whose AI search and chat assistant now ships as EmployeeWorks; Moveworks reported 5.5 million employee users and customers including Siemens, Toyota and Unilever before the deal.

• Gives compliance a central view of AI useThe AI Control Tower, a separate ServiceNow product for governing AI across the enterprise, is documented to discover, observe and govern AI deployed in the business. That gives HR and compliance a central place to review AI use, though the available HR-specific audit scope needs confirming.

• HR runs on the same Now Platform as IT service management, so a request can move between HR and IT workflows without leaving the system.
• AI technology comes from the 2025 Moveworks acquisition, previously used by large enterprises such as Siemens and Toyota before ServiceNow integrated it.
• AI Control Tower is a separate ServiceNow product for governing AI across departments, not just within HR.

About 59 percent of ServiceNow's 2025 revenue came from the US; beyond that, ServiceNow runs a UK data center pair in London and Newport, has five offices and the BSI C5 attestation in Germany, is IRAP assessed up to PROTECTED in Australia and opened data centers in India in 2022, calling it a top growth market.

Before buying, ask specifically which EmployeeWorks and Now Assist capabilities are included in the HR Service Delivery license, since ServiceNow sells them as part of a wider Now Platform contract rather than a standalone HR product. Because autonomous agents can act on employee cases and surface performance-relevant information, German employers should involve the works council under Section 87 BetrVG, and where AI output feeds into hiring, promotion or performance decisions, EU AI Act high-risk duties apply from December 2027.
