Beisen is a Chinese HR software suite for midsize and large employers in China, now repositioning itself around a set of specialized AI HR agents rather than traditional HR modules alone.

Beisen is headquartered in Beijing and was founded in 2002. The company states it serves more than 6,000 midsize and large enterprises, including 70 percent of the Fortune China 500, with more than 2,700 subscription customers for its Core HCM. Over 150,000 HR professionals and 20 million employees use the platform daily, according to the vendor. In fiscal 2026 Beisen returned to profitability and repositioned itself from an HR SaaS vendor toward what it calls an applied AI company, launching the Mavens platform on its own SenGPT language model and SenClaw multi-agent orchestration layer. For Chinese companies operating abroad, the vendor states the product supports more than 20 languages.

Ask about hosting before buying: Beisen offers storage of personal data in third countries for companies abroad but named no locations at our September 2026 check. Because the AI agents build talent profiles and support hiring and performance decisions, PIPL Article 24 requires those automated decisions to be transparent and fair. Employees can demand an explanation of decisions that significantly affect them and refuse ones made solely by automated means, so keep a person responsible for each outcome.
