Braze AI features, pricing and GDPR (October 2026)

Braze is a customer engagement platform that lets brands send personalized messages by email, SMS, push, WhatsApp and in-app channels. Marketing and CRM teams use it to orchestrate journeys and apply AI to timing, content and offers.

Braze combines a data platform, cross-channel messaging, journey orchestration (Canvas), a Creative Studio and reporting. Channels include email, SMS and RCS, mobile and web push, WhatsApp, LINE and KakaoTalk. BrazeAI covers agents, predictions and decisioning. The company lists 2,700 customers, 15 offices and about 2,000 employees, and it has been publicly traded since November 2021. Headquarters are in New York. Brands named on the site include MetLife, Canva, Chime and The Guardian. Billing is based on monthly active users, and the pricing page lists four editions.

• Picks the best send timeIntelligent Timing analyzes each user's past interactions with every channel and sends when that person is most likely to engage. Marketers no longer guess send times by hand. Teams can plan sends by user rather than by a fixed schedule.
• Predicts churn and next actionsPredictive Churn and Predictive Events score users from 0 to 100 for the likelihood of leaving or taking a chosen action. Teams can start win-back journeys for at-risk users before they disengage and focus budget on likely converters.
• Drafts content and builds campaignsBrazeAI Operator helps build campaigns in the dashboard, and generative features cover copywriting, images and Liquid templating. Braze Agents classify, route or enrich data inside a Canvas step. Teams produce variants faster and reduce manual setup.

• Customers can host data in the United States or in Europe on AWS, with Frankfurt as the EU location and backups in Ireland.
• The security documentation lists ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2 Type II and TISAX Assessment Level 3, plus a separate cluster for HIPAA data.
• Braze states that features using its own language models do not train on customer inputs, and customers can use their own model provider with Braze Agents.

The contact page names New York as headquarters, and the company page states that Braze has been listed on the US exchange Nasdaq since November 2021.

No prices are public, and billing by monthly active users and credits needs a quote based on your audience size. Choose the US or EU hosting region at contract start. For US messaging, consent rules such as the TCPA for SMS and CAN-SPAM for email remain your responsibility. If you serve EU customers, review the DPA, subprocessor list and transfer safeguards.
