Hina is a Chinese AI interview and online testing platform for employers that screen large numbers of applicants, for example for store, service and entry-level roles, with an AI interviewer that asks questions and scores answers.

Hina, legally Beijing Qunxing Shanyao Technology, was founded in 2019 and is based in Beijing. The platform combines an AI interviewer, video interviews and online written tests for recruiting teams, plus an AI assistant aimed at recruiters and search firms. The vendor offers a solution for large-scale frontline hiring and lists employers from retail, food service, logistics, manufacturing and banking on its homepage. The website is in Chinese, and the privacy policy states that personal data is stored only on servers in mainland China.

Hina suits employers hiring in China in Chinese. The privacy policy keeps personal data on servers in mainland China. Ask how long interview recordings are kept and whether facial analysis can be switched off. Under Article 24 of China's Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), candidates can ask for an explanation and refuse decisions made solely by automated means, so plan a human review step. For any use involving EU candidates, the EU AI Act treats AI screening in hiring as high risk from December 2, 2027.
