Navan AI features and pricing (October 2026)

Navan combines business travel booking with expense management and corporate cards, and uses AI agents to prefill, audit and reconcile expenses so that finance teams handle fewer reports by hand.

Navan covers flight, hotel, car and rail booking, travel policies and approvals, and a Navan Expense module with corporate cards. Because travel and card data sit in the same system, expenses can be matched to bookings. The company is based in Palo Alto, California, and closed its initial public offering on the Nasdaq in October 2025. On the pricing page, Navan Business is free for travel at companies with up to 300 employees, while larger organizations use Navan Enterprise with dedicated account management.

• Prefills and codes expensesThe Expense Agent fills in description, category and codes from card data and trip details, and maps each transaction to the matching general ledger account. Travelers spend less time on paperwork, and finance receives expenses that are already coded, which helps most at month end.
• Audits every expenseThe Audit Agent checks each expense against more than 45 configurable audit rules, approves compliant spend and flags exceptions. Instead of sampling, the finance team reviews only the items that break a rule.
• Reconciles receipts and bookingsThe Reconciliation Agent links receipts, card payments and travel bookings automatically and gives finance a pre-reconciled view. Navan states that 73 percent of expenses are approved and reconciled without human intervention, which shortens the work before month-end close.
• Suggests actions on flagged itemsAdmin AI drafts context-aware replies for approvals and proposes actions for flagged expenses. Administrators spend less time writing follow-ups to employees about missing receipts or policy questions. Decisions on flagged items stay with the administrators.

• Free travel plan for companies with up to 300 employees, financed by travel provider commissions; expense management is free for the first 5 users.

Check whether your company wants to move travel booking to Navan as well, since much of the automation depends on travel and card data being in one place. Clarify pricing above five expense users and for Enterprise, the AWS region where your data will be hosted, and the export to your ERP or accounting system. German entities should confirm the export format for DATEV and GoBD compliant receipt archiving.
