Stampli is a procure-to-pay platform for midsize and large finance teams. It centers on accounts payable, where its AI assistant Billy codes, matches and routes invoices, and adds procurement, vendor management, payments and card spend.

Stampli covers procurement, accounts payable, vendor onboarding, payments and expense management with its own Stampli Cards. Invoices, comments and approvals sit in one record per document, so questions between AP and approvers are handled there. The software connects to more than 70 ERP systems, with full integrations for SAP ECC and S/4HANA, Oracle NetSuite and Fusion, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, QuickBooks and Acumatica. Stampli, Inc. is based in Mountain View, California, and also operates in Israel. The vendor reports more than 1,800 customers and over 400,000 invoices processed each week.

• Codes invoices line by lineBilly applies GL accounts, departments and custom dimensions to each invoice line, validates vendors and required fields and links the invoice to the right purchase order or receipt. The vendor states that Billy handles most of the routine work across ERP fields, so the AP team reviews instead of typing.
• Matches POs, receipts and invoicesThe AI connects purchase orders, goods receipts and invoices in real time and runs two- and three-way matching. It notifies the team when items have been received or are still missing, which reduces manual follow-up with warehouses and buyers.
• Finds the right approverStampli AI identifies approvers from historical approval patterns, invoice data and the approval logic based on company policies. Invoices reach the right person without an AP clerk working out who is responsible for each cost center.
• Protects against vendor fraudThe platform checks the integrity of vendor email addresses to catch fraud attempts, flags duplicate invoices and tracks expiring vendor documents. This helps the finance team spot changed bank details and compliance gaps before payment.
• Turns finance questions into analysesDeep Finance takes questions from finance leaders and turns them into analyses based on the spend data in Stampli. Controllers get answers on vendors and spend patterns without building reports by hand.

• Connects to more than 70 ERP systems, from QuickBooks to SAP S/4HANA, partly through file-based integrations such as SAP Business One and Workday.
• Pricing for the AP plan covers unlimited entities, vendors and PO matching, which suits groups with many subsidiaries.
• Security page lists SOC 1, SOC 2 and SOC 3 reports, SSO via SAML and database hosting on AWS in Ireland (eu-west-1).

Check whether your ERP has a full Stampli integration or only a file-based connection, which affects how far coding and matching sync automatically. Ask for the SOC 1 report for your auditors and clarify which data stays in the AWS Ireland region, since the privacy policy also allows transfers to the United States.
