What is xSuite?
xSuite automates accounts payable and e-invoicing for companies running SAP. The software captures incoming invoices, matches them against purchase orders and SAP master data and uses AI agents to post, route and check invoices inside SAP workflows.
The xSuite product family covers invoice processing, sending and receiving e-invoices, procurement, order management, SAP archiving and a supplier portal. It runs embedded in SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC, or side by side on SAP Business Technology Platform, on premises, in private or public cloud and in hybrid landscapes. The e-invoicing service connects to Peppol as an access point and to national platforms in Italy, Hungary and Romania.
xSuite Group GmbH is based in Ahrensburg near Hamburg, has more than 300 employees and names 1,600 customers in over 60 countries. Buyers are midsize and large companies with an SAP finance setup and their own accounts payable team.
xSuite AI features and use cases
- Matches invoices to SAP dataThe Matching Agent reads invoice data, enriches it with vendor and material master data from SAP and matches it to purchase orders down to the line item. Accounts payable clerks no longer compare order lines with invoice lines by hand and only handle the differences.
- Decides on background postingThe Verification Agent checks whether an invoice meets the conditions for posting without human touch and then triggers the next step automatically. Clean invoices move through without waiting in a queue, which frees the team for exceptions and speeds up payment runs.
- Routes exceptions and approvalsThe Workflow Agent automates follow-up tasks, sends exceptions to the right owner with a targeted proposal and escalates within SAP workflows. Each step stays traceable, which helps internal control and auditors understand who approved what.
- Flags duplicates and anomaliesThe Fraud Protection Agent looks for duplicate invoices and unusual patterns before payment is released. Finance teams catch double payments and suspicious invoices earlier instead of trying to recover the money afterward.
- Answers questions on open casesxSuite Copilot is a chat assistant that gives context on an invoice and supports users while they resolve an exception. Approvers outside finance get help without calling the accounts payable team.
What sets xSuite apart
- Built for SAP landscapes: runs inside S/4HANA or ECC or side by side on SAP Business Technology Platform, with SAP certified integration options. Other ERP systems are covered only in landscapes where SAP leads.
- Combines invoice processing with outbound and inbound e-invoicing through Peppol and national platforms such as SdI in Italy and NAV in Hungary.
- Holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification according to the company page, and offers on premises operation next to cloud options.
Where xSuite is strongest
xSuite is headquartered in Ahrensburg, Germany, with two more German sites in Heidelberg and Dortmund; its other offices are single locations in Europe, the US and Singapore.
Questions to ask before you buy xSuite
Clarify which SAP release you run and whether xSuite should sit inside SAP or on SAP Business Technology Platform, since that affects project scope and hosting. Ask where AI processing and the Azure based e-invoicing service store data, request the data processing agreement and subprocessor list, and check whether an ISAE 3402 or SOC 1 report exists for your auditors. Pricing is by quote, so compare license, implementation and support separately.
